Dallas Media Company: "The Story of Art in America" Documentary
As the Director of Photography for The Story of Art in America (Season 3), I led video production across a month-long road trip through nine Texas cities capturing how art thrives in both major urban hubs and small rural communities. Working closely with the director, I crafted visual storytelling on the fly, using local environments to create dynamic and meaningful sets.
This Texas-based documentary demanded rapid setup across six locations in just two days, requiring flexibility, technical precision, and creative problem-solving. I captured cinematic B-roll with handheld rigs, sliders, and gimbals, while also managing on-location audio recording. My role also involved ensuring on-camera talent felt at ease, allowing for authentic and compelling interviews.
