BTS is its own discipline. What’s included in the $600 starting price?
Half-day (up to 4 hours) of embedded BTS coverage on an existing shoot day, a 60–90 second BTS reel delivered within 24 hours, and platform-ready vertical + horizontal cuts. Full-day coverage and multi-day shoots are quoted from there.
Can you add BTS to a shoot we’re not producing with you?
Yes — BTS works as an add-on to any production, whether DMC is producing the primary content or your existing crew is. We coordinate with your director/producer ahead of time so we’re additive, not distracting.
How does BTS differ from regular event coverage?
BTS is about the process — the gear, the lighting, the talent direction, the team at work. Event coverage is about the event — what’s being staged for the audience. BTS often becomes the most-watched cut from a project because it’s the part most viewers never get to see.
What kinds of shoots benefit most from BTS?
Brand films (founder content, product launches), photo days (especially editorial or headshot), podcast launches, music videos, conferences, and any shoot with talent. If there’s a setup or process worth documenting, BTS works.
Do you need direction from us, or do you just embed?
Either way. Some shoots want hands-off documentary-style embedding; others want specific shot priorities (founder talking to director, gear close-ups for sponsors, etc.). We’ll cover both styles in a brief 15-minute pre-shoot call.
