QUESTIONS WE HEAR OFTEN

Common questions from executive directors, membership chairs, and event managers at DFW chambers and member organizations. Don’t see yours?

Ask Us Directly →

What kinds of chambers and organizations do you work with?

City chambers, regional chambers, ethnic and affinity chambers, industry trade associations, civic clubs, and 501(c)(3) member organizations across the DFW metroplex. Every size from small-town chambers running on volunteer energy to multi-thousand-member regional bodies with full staff.

If your org has dues, members, events, and a fiscal year — the work patterns rhyme, and we know the rhythm.

We’re looking for a recurring media partner, not a one-off vendor. Is that how you work?

Yes — that’s actually our preferred posture. DMC was built on the idea of being a media partner, not a vendor. For most chambers, that looks like a rolling agreement: monthly or quarterly member spotlights, on-call ribbon-cutting coverage, and the big-event flagship films (gala, annual luncheon, awards night).

Working that way means we already know your brand, your members, and your calendar by the time the next event hits — and the price-per-deliverable drops meaningfully versus booking shoots one at a time.

How do you handle annual content cycles — galas, awards nights, and recurring events?

We build the calendar with you in advance. At the start of your program year, we map your major events (gala, awards, state-of-the-region, annual luncheon, signature mixers) and pre-block crew dates. Each event gets a deliverable plan: hero recap film, sponsor-tier cuts, social shorts, photo selects, and re-use clips for next year’s invitation cycle.

Most galas and annual events recycle their footage for 12 months. We shoot with that re-use in mind from the start.

Can you produce sponsor-tier deliverables that justify our gold/silver/bronze pricing?

Yes — and this is one of the most under-leveraged parts of chamber content. We’ll work with your sponsorship deck to design tiered video deliverables (logo placement in recap film, sponsor-named feature segments, behind-the-scenes shorts at top-tier sponsor activations, dedicated thank-you clips) so each tier has a clear, demonstrable video value.

That turns video from a line-item expense into a sponsorship multiplier the membership team can actually sell against.

How quickly do you turn around ribbon-cutting and event coverage?

Standard turnaround for ribbon-cuttings and single-event coverage is same-week delivery — a short highlight reel and select photos within 3–5 business days. Big-event recap films (galas, annual luncheons) typically deliver within 10–14 days of the event so they can land while attendee energy is still fresh.

Do you provide photos at events, or is it video only?

Both. Most chamber events get bundled photo + video coverage from us — and for many ribbon-cuttings and mixers, the photos are actually the heavier-traffic deliverable for member LinkedIn shares. We can also add an on-site headshot station as a member benefit at recurring events, which membership teams have told us is one of the highest-perceived-value add-ons they’ve used.

Can you help us tell the membership ROI story for prospects?

Yes — recruitment reels and member testimonial content are a core part of the work. We typically interview a small mix of long-tenured and newer members, get specific about what membership has actually done for their business, and cut a 60–90 second hero reel plus a small library of single-member testimonial clips for prospect emails, the website, and onboarding follow-up.

How do we start a project with you?

Send a quick note through the contact form with the basics — your organization, what you’re trying to produce (a single event, a member spotlight series, a full annual partnership), and your timeframe. We’ll respond within 24 hours with a quote, a timeline, and where it makes sense, a partnership-style scope rather than a one-shoot scope. From there, signed agreement and we’re on calendar.

READY TO BUILD A MEDIA PARTNERSHIP?

From a single ribbon-cutting to a full-year content partnership, we’ll come back to your inquiry with a quote, a timeline, and the next available shoot dates — within 24 hours.
