Texas Civil Rights Project Livestream & Recorded

Five panels, three cameras, one feed that held.

Dallas Media Company produced a full-day, three-camera livestream and recording for the Texas Civil Rights Project. One event. Five panels. A clean broadcast from first speaker to last.

The brief: reach the people who could not be in the room.

The Texas Civil Rights Project was running [event name], a single day built around five panels. They needed it to reach an audience far beyond the venue. That meant a live stream for remote attendees and a clean recording for the archive.

The bar for a live civil rights event is high. The feed had to stay up. Every speaker had to be seen and heard. There was no second take.

What we delivered: a three-camera production, run as one.

  1. Three-camera live switch. Wide, tight, and a flexible third angle, cut live so the stream stayed dynamic across every panel.
  2. Continuous livestream. Streamed to a private Zoom room at the client’s request, serving 50 remote attendees without interruption through all five sessions.
  3. Full-length recording. Every panel captured in full and delivered as a clean archive for TCRP to keep and reuse.
  4. Live audio capture. Clear sound from the panel mics and the house system, mixed for the stream in real time.

On the day: live events change. We changed with them.

No live production runs exactly to plan. Agendas move. Rooms get rearranged. Speakers run long. Our crew read each change as it happened and kept the broadcast steady through all of it.
