Family Christmas Photos and an Amtryke Presentation for Lakeside AMBUCS

The Project

Lakeside AMBUCS is a nonprofit service chapter serving the Lake Ray Hubbard area. Their work centers on one idea: mobility and independence for people with disabilities. A big part of that work is the Amtryke program.

For this event, STASH Realty Group opened its Wylie office and sponsored the day. Dallas Media Company set up a holiday portrait studio on site. Families came in for Christmas photos. Then the room came together for the main moment of the day.

Lakeside AMBUCS presented a brand new Amtryke.

What Is an Amtryke?

An Amtryke is an adaptive therapeutic tricycle. It helps riders with disabilities build strength, coordination, and confidence. It also gives them something simple and powerful. The joy of riding a bike with their family and friends.

AMBUCS chapters raise funds and present these trykes to children, adults, and veterans in their communities. Every presentation is a big day for the rider and their family. It deserves to be captured well.

Family Christmas Photos at STASH Realty Group

We turned the STASH Realty Group office into a holiday portrait set.

Each family got a short, relaxed session. We kept it light and moved fast so kids stayed happy. The goal was simple. Give every family a photo worth framing and sending out with their Christmas cards.

Covering the Amtryke Presentation

The tryke presentation was the heart of the day. We shifted from portrait mode to documentary mode.

We covered the full moment. The reveal. The fitting. The first ride. The reactions from family, AMBUCS members, and the STASH Realty Group team.

Moments like this happen once. There is no second take. Our event background helps here. We read the room, stay out of the way, and stay ready for the shot that matters.

Why It Matters

Lakeside AMBUCS runs on community support. Strong photos help them do three things:

  • Thank their sponsors. STASH Realty Group gets real images of the impact they helped create.
  • Share their mission. One photo of a first ride says more than a paragraph of copy.
  • Raise funds for the next tryke. Great visuals make donation asks and social posts land.

For STASH Realty Group, the day showed what local business support looks like in action. For the families, it meant Christmas photos and a front row seat to something special.

The Takeaway

This project blended two kinds of work. Holiday portraits on one side. Live nonprofit event coverage on the other. Same room. Same day. One crew.

That flexibility is what we bring to every event. If your nonprofit, chamber, or business is hosting a community event in Wylie, Rockwall, Rowlett, Garland, or anywhere in DFW, we would love to help tell the story.
