The opportunity
A grand opening is a one-shot environment. The doors open, the room fills, and the energy doesn’t pause for a second take. USSPT’s launch brought athletes, parents, and the local sports community through the door all at once exactly the audience Kintrol wants in front of.
Rather than set up a booth and wait, Kintrol put their work on display. Dr. Andrew Do and the team demonstrated the chiropractic-meets-performance approach the practice is built on and offered free massages to guests on the floor. It was the practice doing what it does best, in front of a brand-new crowd. The opportunity was to bottle that — to give Kintrol a piece of brand content that carried the moment well past the day itself.
The challenge
Live activations are easy to film and hard to tell. A camera pointed at people getting massages captures an event; it doesn’t necessarily communicate a brand. The goal here was the harder version: a showcase that reads as Kintrol – the expertise, the hands-on care, the confidence of a team that knows the body and not just generic event B-roll.
On top of that, it was a single day, unscripted, and busy. Real guests, constant movement, no staging. Whatever we captured had to be captured the first time.
Our approach
We embedded with the Kintrol team on the floor and shot it like the live moment it was — close to the work, close to the reactions. The focus was on the details that signal expertise: hands on a shoulder, the moment a guest’s posture changes, the back-and-forth between the team and the people they were treating. Authentic beats over staged ones.
Everything was framed social-first, so the final cut would live natively where Kintrol’s audience already is, and edited on the same quick-turnaround approach we bring to event work: the brand showcase in their hands while the launch was still fresh.
The result
The launch gave Kintrol a single high-energy day in front of USSPT’s community of athletes and families. The showcase gave them something durable to come out of it with a branded piece that keeps working on their channels, reintroducing the practice to anyone who scrolls past, well after the room emptied out.
